The 90° angle is perfect for archaeological excavations !
The small blade of the trowel is more adapted for excavating small surfaces. Its blade is thicker than that of the 9 and 11cm Pi2 trowels. (Malicious gossip has it that it is a chief's trowel because it can disappear in his pocket!...).
Blade thickness : 1.4 mm
The same characteristics as for the wood handle, but the durasoft handle doesn't come loose.
Its long blade is very usefull for "stripping". The 11 cm is the trowel of experienced archaeologists. As a matter of fact, in the course of time, the 11cm trowel inevitably becomes a 9 cm and if it was not lost in a spoil heap, ends its career as a 7cm.
Blade thickness : 1.2 mm
The same characteristics as for the wood handle, but the durasoft handle doesn't come loose over time.
