The 90° angle is perfect for archaeological excavations !
The same characteristics as for the wood handle, but the durasoft handle doesn't come loose.
The small blade of the trowel is more adapted for excavating small surfaces. Its blade is thicker than that of the 9 and 12 cm Pi2 trowels. (Malicious gossip has it that it is a chief's trowel because it can disappear in his pocket!...).
Blade thickness: 1.4 mm
The medium blade is suitable for all types of excavation. Neither too long nor too short, the 9 cm trowel is used on most excavations.
Blade thickness: 1.2 mm
The long blade is very useful for "stripping". The 12 cm is the trowel for experienced archaeologists.
As a matter of fact, in the course of time, the 12cm trowel inevitably becomes a 9 cm and if it was not lost in a spoil heap, ends its career as a 7cm.
